We have made sustainability a central theme of our business... Cornwall has a special, unspoilt natural environment that we love, and hope you will love as well. Inevitably, everything we do impacts upon the environment. We have therefore made sustainability a central theme of our business. When you enjoy your well earned break, you can be safe in the knowledge that we have put in the groundwork to make your stay a truly sustainable experience. So relax, we will put in the effort.

Although we focus on being an environmentally friendly business your comfort is always at the forefront of our minds. So while enjoying your luxurious shower you will not notice that solar panels are helping deliver your hot water. You will also be unaware that there is wool and recycled paper insulation in the roof, keeping you at a comfortable temperature throughout the year; when did you last sleep under a woolen blanket a foot thick? The food on your plate at breakfast will be locally sourced; you will appreciate that it is fresh and full of flavour, whilst we know we will have minimized food miles, and supported the local economy! When we can't source the food locally (Cornwall may enjoy perpetual sunshine, but we do struggle with oranges, mangoes, pineapples...) we work hard to source fair trade goods to support less fortunate parts of the world. And we are in the process of changing to a green supplier, and we recycle like mad, and we have a wildlife friendly plan for the grounds, and lots and lots more... We also offer a £5 per night discount if you take public transport into Cornwall!
